“My name is Lilwen and for as long as I can remember, my artistry has been tied to my love of nature. It’s my muse.

I love foraging and collecting little pieces of the earth to weave into my work. Every time I step out my door, I will inevitably fill my pockets with the beautiful little things I find along my path. Bright leaves, vivid flowers, odd twigs, glittering insect wings, river-softened stones, and countless other treasures easily found at my feet. This desire to collect and appreciate bits of the wild is what drives me as an artist.”

Lilwen is a self taught metalsmith, photographer, and found object artist, with work that is heavily inspired by her lifelong love of the natural world. She creates pieces that highlight upon the beauty of the earth and the hidden artistry found within the foraged materials she gathers.
